It’s been a couple of months since my last post – no news is good news?<\/p>\n
Well, there hasn’t been a great deal to talk about really.<\/p>\n
Travis Perkins has been knocking seven bells out of the site next door.\u00a0 It has been noisy, but they put up a sound barrier for us and supplied a load of portable air conditioning units.\u00a0 These were a Godsend during the unusually high temperatures we experienced during the Summer.<\/p>\n
Club has been well-attended; Olivia was leading, ably assisted by Alice and Brittany and Lydia, the two students who joined us last year.\u00a0 As far as I could see (and hear – my office is in the corner of the room) the children had a great time!<\/p>\n
Club joined the rest of the children in fundraising – sponsored walks, cake sales, nail painting (finger, not masonry) etc – raising around \u00a3200 for the Nursery.\u00a0 Well done!<\/p>\n
