Dear All,<\/p>\n
At the last Trustees meeting, I mentioned that my family had recently suffered a house fire. As we were alerted early to the fire by our smoke alarms, fortunately, everyone escaped unharmed. Our smoke alarms were fitted following a Safe & Well visit from Kent Fire & Rescue.\u00a0We have agreed to publicise this service with Kent Fire & Rescue and have recorded the attached video<\/a> (which they released on Facebook, Twitter and their YouTube channel earlier today.)<\/p>\n The Safe & Well visits are\u00a0freely\u00a0<\/strong>available to families with children under the age of 5, or who are expecting an addition to the family. They are eager to encourage the uptake of these free<\/strong> visits. More details can be found on their website<\/a>:<\/p>\n Editor’s Note: From the Safe & Well web page:-<\/p>\n “Our home safety officers or firefighters will visit your home at a time convenient for you, and together with you will tailor the visit to suit your needs and the type of property you live in.
