Reading, playing and chatting with them are simple things they can do to help them develop, even when they are too young to say much back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents can access tips and activities from <a href=\"https:\/\/hungrylittleminds.campaign.gov.uk\/\">https:\/\/hungrylittleminds.campaign.gov.uk\/<\/a> and also search for activities in their area using a new postcode finder service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parents . . .<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Children soak up every little\nbit of stimulation you can give them. It\u2019s all the little things that make a\nbig difference with the development of their speech and understanding of words.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyday moments can be used\nto boost your child\u2019s learning, and they are interested in all sorts of things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hungrylittleminds.campaign.gov.uk\/\">Hungry Little Minds<\/a> <\/strong>campaign provides lots of simple tips and activities that you can slot into your routine and that children love:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Kids will make a game out of\nalmost anything. When you play with them you can see their imaginations light\nup. Whether it\u2019s I spy while on the bus, peek-a-boo at bath-time or even a game\nof teddy bears\u2019 picnic at tea-time.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Kids love to talk about all\nsorts of things.
