Jean’s resignation and replacement
It is with sadness but also a profound sense of admiration that I am writing to tell you that after many years of dedication to our nursery, Jean Sowten has made the decision to step down. Jean has made an extraordinary contribution over many years and has been such a positive influence in the lives of so many of our young ones.
Her final day as manger will be Friday 13th March, at which time I am delighted to say that Rachel Walking (the toddler room leader) has agreed to step up as acting manager. She will continue in this role while the trustees undertake a robust recruitment process to identify someone who will take the nursery forward.
