Just when we thought everything was going smoothly . . . . we’ve just been informed by Linda Larter, Sevenoaks Town Clerk, that UK Power Networks will be installing a new electrical power supply at the Community Centre on Monday 3rd February.
This means there will be no power supply to the Nursery – no heating or lighting, no cooking or security – so we are obliged to shut the Nursery for the day.
Linda informs us that they explored other dates for the work eg weekends and evenings, but that UKPN were uncooperative.
We can’t apologise enough for yet another disruption, but this one is completely out of our control, so the best we can do is give you as much notice as possible and not to charge for the day.
Sorry again for the inconvenience. We all hope that this will be the last time your patience (and ours) is tried!
